The Canon EOS R7, together with the EOS R10, is the first APS-C camera in the EOS-R series. The R7 is the equivalent version of the older EOS 7D SLR camera. With this mirrorless camera, it is possible to take up to 15 images per second on the 32.5 megapixel sensor. You have 5-axis image stabilization with 7 stops and 4K 60fps film options.

The Canon EOS R7 boasts an entirely new APS-C CMOS sensor with 32.5 megapixels. This ensures that you can print banner size photos in high quality. It is possible to take long burst and continuous shots, while the autofocus works at all times.
More power through DIGIC X image processor
The DIGIC X image processor is the heart of the camera and ensures that the camera processes all images quickly and can handle the high quality. For example, photos are saved quickly, the camera starts up quickly, and it is possible to record videos in high quality. Thanks to the strong processor, you can set the ISO from 100 to 32000, and it can be expanded to 51200.
Made for sports, cars, and birds
The APS-C sensor has a crop of 1.6x, which results in being closer to your subject. This is especially useful for sports, wildlife, bird, and car photography. It is possible to take up to 30 photos per second when using the electronic shutter. If you switch to the mechanical shutter, you can shoot up to 15 images per second.
Fast autofocus
A good autofocus is essential for taking sharp action photos. Luckily, the Canon EOS R7 uses Dual Pixel CMOS AF II technology, using every pixel on the sensor to focus. The coverage is 100% with a compatible lens and has a maximum of 651 zones. This technology will make sure you won’t take out-of-focus photos.
Optical in-body image stabilization
Handheld filming and photographing is no problem thanks to the built-in optical 5-axis image stabilization. The stabilization can stabilize up to 8 stops with compatible lenses. This is useful when you work with slower shutter speeds while shooting from the hand or when moving while filming.
4K film from 7K oversampled footage
With the Canon EOS R7, it is possible to make video images with a resolution of 4K and 60 frames per second. You can record footage in 10-bit and by using Canon C-Log 3 the dynamic range will be increased. If the camera is set to 4K 30fps, your film will be recorded from 7K oversampled footage. That means that you make 7K footage, which is reduced to 4K. This provides extra details and sharpness and less moiré and noise. In Full HD 1080p, you can make slow-motion video at 120fps.
Use the HDR-PQ mode to create HDR film. This footage picks up extra information from the shadows and highlights and brings the image close to what the human eye perceives. For clean 4K output, there is a micro-HDMI port that supports up to 60fps. Thanks to the dual UHS-II SD memory card slots, you can add extra storage, back up your files or record simultaneously.
Vari-angle touchscreen and sharp viewfinder
At the back of the camera, Canon placed a vari-angle touchscreen of 2.95-inch and 1.62 megapixels. The electronic OLED viewfinder has a resolution of 2.36m-Dot and is therefore suitable for images with high resolutions. The viewfinder has a magnification of 1.15x and thanks to the 120fps refresh rate, there will hardly ever be a delay and no black-out.
Connectivity
For fast footage transfer, you can use the USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2 port. The camera also has a micro-HDMI port and 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. The Bluetooth can be used to operate the camera with the app or a remote control.
