With the GoPro Hero 10 Black, you don’t necessarily get many new functions, but you do get an entirely new processor. This is perhaps more important than new functions because thanks to this GP2 processor everything is faster, better and with more quality. You can film in 5.3K with no less than 60fps and up to 120fps in 4K. The touchscreen responds better and more accurately, and you can even zoom in digitally.
Slow motion and high resolutions
As we mentioned, it is now possible to film in a large resolution of up to 5.3K and 60 frames per second. This makes it possible to slow down your images up to 2 times without losing quality. If you set the video resolution to 4K, you can even slow down up to 4x thanks to the 120fps and this too without loss of quality. For the ultimate 8x lag, you can film in 2.7K or Full HD 1080p to get up to 240fps. You can also get 15MP photos from the 5.3K images.
No blurry photos
Thanks to the water-repellent hydrophobic lens hood, water falls directly off the lens, so you never have water droplets in the picture. The photos and video are full of details and sharpness, without distortions and with a wide dynamic range.
HyperSmooth 4.0
There are few cameras that stabilize as well as GoPro does. The GoPro 10 contains HyperSmooth 4.0 that stabilizes your images wonderfully. This way, you mount the camera on a running dog and get a completely stable image. The same applies to mounting on, for example, bicycles, airplanes, snowboarders or just when you walk or run.
